The Water Resources Association of San Benito County (WRASBC) is a locally based agency serving water customers from, and is governed by representatives from, each of the following agencies:

Project Overview

The Water Resources Association San Benito County (WRASBC) focuses on water conservation and water resource protection. One of their many programs, The Environmental Literacy Program (ELP) focuses on education and reaching young people in our community who will inherit our water resources.

Environmental Literacy Program (ELP)

The ELP will develop students understanding of water awareness, conservation, ecosystems, watersheds, preservation, agriculture, recycling, composting and climate change. The ELP is for elementary and middle school students in the Hollister School District and the Aromas-San Juan Unified School District that live in the upper Pajaro watershed. The program will occur from March to May, which is Water Awareness Month

The WRASBC is working with the following people and organizations in coordinating the Environmental Literacy Project (ELP).

  • Local artist and performers
